Abstract

In the current context in according with international law and the Russian legislation, the problem of the conditions for serving a criminal penalty by pregnant women and women with children under the age of 3 years old is particularly relevant. Other important issues
are related to the prospect of further reunifying of the mother and her child, strengthening the ties with relatives and friends, as well as
increasing the level of equipment and professionalism in providing assistance in the areas of medicine, hygiene and education of the
mother and her child. The available statistical data allow assessing the changes in the nature of crimes committed, as well as ascertaining
age rejuvenation of women convicted of certain types of crimes.
