ON THE ROLE OF THE SPATIALTERRITORIAL FACTOR IN THE LIFE OF SOCIETY AND STATE FUNCTIONING
Keywords:
space, territory, habitat, resources, social space, city, state, people, identity, legal spaceAbstract
Nowadays, the spatial-territorial dimension of political processes seems to be extremely important for understanding the essence of international relations. At all times, people were
willing to exercise some political control over the space where they lived, in order to extract and exploit natural resources and maintain their cultural identity. Great empires emerged and disappeared from the political map of the world in the struggle for space. The vital state space is the territory on which it exists. The territory for the state is of extremely important interest for
two reasons. First, the territory includes subsoil resources. In this context, particular importance
is given to soil chemistry. Secondly, the territory is of great interest in terms of establishing and maintaining the social and cultural community of its citizens, for example, through passport policy (I am a Russian, a Frenchman, an American, etc.). A very convincing proof that the territory is an essential attribute of a person's identity is the question that is usually asked first of all to a stranger: “Where are you from?” In addition, the answer, as a rule, can tell us a lot about a person. Nowadays, the state is the center of activity of representatives of different regions, cultures, occupations, professions and interests. At the same time, almost every person on Earth is related to a certain state and through it to a specific political, legal, social and economic system.
